Staying healthy, staying strong

MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR AID WORKERS EVERYWHERE

Medical

You owe it to yourself and those around you to minimise health-related risks when working far from the nearest health centre. Joining one of these associations before setting off will allow you to do your job with confidence and peace of mind.

International SOS

Medical Advisory Services

International SOS provides medical advice, assistance and referrals over the phone for travellers abroad ... but you have to be a member first.

IAMAT

International Medical Advice

The International Association for Medical Advice to Travellers (IAMAT) made it their mission to minimise health-related risks for travellers, including aid workers. When you join this free service -- they expect a donation after a year -- you can travel the world with confidence and peace of mind. Genuinely useful for finding out more about weird tropical diseases ... and how not to get them.
